Shared roots. Mutual respect.
Everyone deserves to be treated as a person, not a profile. These expectations apply to your photos, biography, messages, and interactions on ShlamaMatch.
Be yourself
Use your own photos, your real age, and truthful details. Do not impersonate another person or create a profile for someone without their knowledge. Be honest about what you are looking for.
Respect boundaries
A match does not create an obligation to reply, share personal details, or meet. Accept a no, an unmatch, or a block. Do not pressure, threaten, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop.
Make space for different stories
Respect each person’s background, language, religion, gender, and individual identity. Hate, discrimination, humiliation, and targeted harassment do not belong here.
Keep content appropriate
No sexual exploitation, threats, violent content, or unlawful content. Do not send unsolicited sexual material. Do not post someone’s private messages or identifying information without permission. Keep minors out of dating conversations and do not use a minor as the subject of your profile photos.
No scams or solicitation
Do not request money, promote financial schemes, sell services, or use relationships as a way to obtain account credentials or personal information. Never share your password, confirmation code, or payment details with another member.
Take care when meeting
Take your time. For a first meeting, choose a public place, arrange your own transportation, and tell someone you trust where you are going. Manual photo review does not guarantee a person’s identity or intentions.
